All is well
Hubby has four more stents and is good as new, or better. I'm glad I didn't rush to Dublin, as I would have had to spend many more hours in suspense. He sounds a lot better with blood flow restored. He's home and getting bored, ready to go back to work, doesn't need any help or care. I'm to stay put and await his arrival June 23.
So, I've zipped from Tulsa to OKC and back, and from Tulsa to Tahlequah and back, and now I'm in Dallas visiting my brother, his daughter, her girlfriend, four cats, one small dog, smelly litter boxes, and cigar and cigarette smoke. He makes great coffee.
Last night we saw a Danish film, "Brothers." It was very good -- wrenching, moving, sidestepped every anticipated formulaic plot development, strong characters, fine acting. Who could ask for more?
It is very odd to enjoy visiting Oklahoma and family. It's as though I'm finally liberated from the suffocation of coming "home."
